OpenVoter 2.0.1 is now available for download from the Downloads Page. The 2.0.1 release is more of a bug fix release than it is anything else. It fixes a few bugs found in the system and does add some more validation for submissions and reports. Here's a quick list of what this release addresses.
- The subcategory count was always listed as 1 when there were not any subcategories. This has been fixed, it now shows 0.
- Banning a user from a report page now works as intended.
- Submission and report data are now more thoroughly validated before being posted.
- You can now delete a category, there was an issue with the SQL call which has been fixed.
- When the action to be taken upon deletion of an account is to delete all the user's content, then all the reports for the user's comments and submissions will now be deleted as well.
For users upgrading from the 2.0.0 release, just download the upgrade and extract it to your web directory. Those installing for the first time should use the standalone package.
